Hi Franche. Thanks for the links.

I see you have one on bead tips too. I use bead tips on stuff I make
for myself, but I don't like them for something I want to sell. They
always seem to close catawaupus. And that bend can weaken or be
scratchy. I prefer the bead tips like this
http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?PN=H202181FN

I haven't tried crimp bead covers, but they look like a good idea
too. I don't like crimps, and like wire even less. I just got 300
yards of 10 pound PowerPro Spectra fishing line at Sportsman's Outlet
for $27. It's darker than I like so I also got some TufLine XP 20#
(they didn't carry 10), which was a little cheaper. And I'll probably
get they next spool on line someplace for less. Both of these are
quite green. There's also Crystal Line , or something, which is
white. The spectra line is much more supple. I'd like to try the
crimp covers over knots.

But, hey, why don't you introduce yourself. Tell us a little about
yourself. And your site.

Tina

Hi Tina,

Thank you for your comment. Someone actually gave me a packet of the
beadtips that you mentioned, but I had never tried it, should give it
a try sometime.

I have been beading for more than 10 years, and still hooked.....such
an addiction. This is a hobby that I picked up while I was working
abroad more than 10 years ago. I have been teaching classes at
Michaels and on my own. I just love it!!

Please feel free to leave me any comments on my blog! :) I post daily!

Hi Frances,

Nice to meet you! Do you have a gallery on your website? I wan't sure if I
was looking in the wrong place. I love to look at other people's work for
inspiration! Keeps my mind on working on my own projects, like, "Wow, if
they did that, I have to finish my piece!" Lol.

Sorry about that. I started a post, didn't finish, lost it, and it went
anyway.

DUH! Poor computer skills and lack of coffee.

Didn't find the ring tutorial ...
(sorry, I'm not subscribing to anything to see one thing of
which I don't even know whether I can display it, just like I don't
get wholesale accounts with vendors who don't who me what
they have available. If they don't show me prices that's fine,
if they have something I want to get I'll get an account,
but I have too many accounts and too many mailing lists to
begin with to sign up for something that I don't know I'll
be interested in.)

Maren
