Hello everyone,

Great to still see some familiar names :) I was away for a long while
due to computer problems. When the poor thing (computer) finally up
and died on me, I got a new one...then my ISP dropped usenet. I'm not
a fan of google groups, but I really missed the beading community :)

Happy to see you back too, Carla, and Shirley. too. I missed almost
a week here myself, too much work, not much beading, and the
ongoing saga of people in the lampwork community being accused
of tax evasion and stuff (none of which is true for all I can tell),
but
it's taken some extra time just to keep up with.

Hope you get better soon Shirley, I always like to see all the
things you make, and I can't imagine you not working on one or
the other craft project.

Carla, Google groups isn't ideal (the feed to one of the moderated
groups I'm a member of has been broken for a long time). DH subscribes
to something called usenet.com for $4.95/month. I got used to Google
groups, but I've used it for years.

Gina, are you back for good?

Oh, another name from the past: Flonche just gave me very good
advice for my kiln over at Lampwork Etc.

I hope to be back more often myself ...

I've never been gone, just real quiet. I can't do much beading due to
arthritis, but I managed to make a bracelet last week by being reeeeeal
careful.

I have to be careful with wire crochet (any crochet for that matter),
but that's carpal tunnel in my case.
