Please read and support the lampworkers who were attacked.
All of them make wonderful beads (I don't).

The latest attack that I know of is on Kandice (Seeber)!

There is a legal fund set up and a lot of the people who have
been attacked have put items in their Etsy shops etc. to donate
the proceeds to this legal fund (I haven't yet, but I'm planning
to, probably a lb of Job's Tears).

If you're in the market for beads, have a look (oh, and it's not
only bead makers. Some other artisans as well).

Maren

People who had their name or business name mentioned on this persons
blog may want to go to the Internet Crime Complaint Center and file
complaints. The blog site may have fraudulent statements about
lampworkers and their businesses.

IC3's web site is:

Actually, the site I posted is not the site of the attacker
but of the debunkers. But I will forward the url you posted
to the people who are on the debunking side.

Thanks for helping.
(No, there's nothing in it for me personally).

I understood that, I went to both the debunker site and the attacker
site. My understanding is that the attacker may be a woman who is
angry for getting kicked of etsy.

If you have not read the attackers blog you need to, it is
entertaining. Although, it is kind of sad that the internet is used
in this manner.

Someone who was attacked posted legal costs starting around $20,000 to
go after the attacker. I'm hoping that the ic3.gov can help and maybe
save a number of people some money.

Didn't think there was anything in it for you. I am sorry If I gave
that impression.

The only ones that will get anything is the lawyers.

Somebody at Lampwork Etc. has an RSS or similar feed from the
attacker's
blog and posts updates there. I read the blog itself in the beginning,
now I'm
staying away to do my share of keeping her hit count down.

The people who are organizing the legal end of thing have reported to
IC3 among other places.

There's a legal fund set up to which people can donate, and some
people
are selling things and donate the proceeds. I'll post a link to
Kandice's
glass auctions on Ebay, and you'll find a few Etsy listings if you
search
for AGLF.

Thanks,
Maren

The last one attacked so far who is well known to r.c.b is Kim Neely.
This is definitely not fun. I have been paying attention to it and
doing
some support for the past month or 6 weeks. There are several
listings
on Etsy, Ebay and Artfire (and possibly Justbeads) to support the
AGLF. Those who have been attacked may need some funds to defend
themselves. Sandy (I hope you don't mind me posting this, Sandy)
had a stroke at had to go to the hospital. She sounds OK again now,
but she doesn't have medical insurance (by choice for all I remember).

One of my LE friends says "If you're not part of the solution you're
part of the problem". If you want to help, got to Etsy, Ebay, or
Artfire
and search AGLF (probably Justbeads too). Anything you contribute
will help the ones attacked (No, I'm not one of them, but of the ones
here it's at least Kandice Seeber and Kim Neely) via the legal fund.

I only have Job's Tears in it (and you can bet I'm not making
money on them). The lampwork donated is to die for. Some wonderful
silk ribbons too.

Maren
